E0<00:: There is the house (house 1, house 2, house 3, house 4, and so on) with a landing, a staircase, and a cat sleeping peacefully on the landing(1). A house is defined by its boundaries and habitability / a deterritorialized house / there is no singular house but the house. The house is shattered like a mirror; it is said that the cracks in the mirror’s glass allow for leaks. Refraction establishes the tension of axes of symmetry(2): the Sun and the Earth’s core, the map and the knower, the oikos and the inhabitant, the destiny and condition, the mundane and the sublime, the necessary and the contingent. Figure 5, Conclusive Report on the disappearance of the Technical Infiltration and Investigation Unit (my beloved new face): The unit appears to have been progressively dismantled by unknown forces. On May 27, 2024, the last report, allegedly under the codename CRID, was issued. Disturbing in nature, the report narrates the survival of the unit’s sole remaining operative. According to the statement, the operative had reached a village and settled into a family home thanks to the goodwill of the resident family. Initially becoming a tenant, the operative reciprocated with a gift for each of the family’s three children: a watch, a pair of shoes, and a firearm. As the narrative progresses, describing a series of days, the operative recounts infiltrating the household by wearing the father’s clothes, mimicking the father’s gestures, and adopting the father’s face. It describes mornings spent at the market buying fish and fruit, interactions with the children and the mother. The operative details falling in love with his “beloved wife.” The situation seemingly destabilizes the family’s harmony; the children gradually vanish from the report, and the wife’s behavior shifts toward increasing distance and fading affection. It is unclear whether hostilities were involved. The report ends ambiguously, with the operative—apparently prompted by the wife—participating in a significant reorganization of the family’s heirloom items: boxes, photo albums, clothing, furniture. After this, the wife disappears. The operative closes the report with a poem titled “burning_church” and concludes: “There will be no more communications after this.
